PLG Series Continuous Plate Dryer is high efficient drying equipment.Its unique structure and working principle bring the features of high heat efficiency,low energy consumption,small space occupancy,simple configuration,easy operation and good operating environment. It is widely applied in the industry of chemical,pharmaceutical,pesticides,foodstuff,fodder,agricultural and subsidiary products.Now there are three big categories,including normal pressure,enclosed style and vacuum style;four models,including 1200,1500,2200 and 2500;three machine materials,A(carbon steel),B(stainless steel for contacting parts) and C(base on B with stainless steel for steam pipes,main shaft ans support and stainless linings for cylinder body and top cover).According to the drying area of 4-180m2,hundreds of models are provided in this series.Auxiliary devices are available to meet various requirements.
Main Principle:
Wet materials are fed continuously to the top drying layer in the dryer.They will be turned and stirred constantly by harrows when the harrow’s arm rotates.The material flows through the surface of the drying plate along the exponential helical line.On the small drying plate the material will be moved to its exterior edge and drop down to the exterior edge of the large drying plate underneath,and then will be moved inward and drop down from its central hole to the small drying plate on the next layer.Both small and large drying plates are arranged alternately so as material can go through the whole dryer constantly.The heating medium could be saturated steam,hot water or thermal oil will be led into hollow drying plates from one end to the other end of the dryer.The dried product will drop from the last layer of the drying plate to the bottom layer of the smell body,and will be moved by harrows to the discharge port.The moisture exhausts from material and will be removed from the moisture discharge port on the top cover,or pumped out by the vacuum pump on the top cover for vacuum type plate dryer.The dried product discharge from the bottom later can be packed directly.The drying capacity can be raised up if equipped with supplementary devices,such as finned heater,condenser for solvent recovery,bag dust filter,return and mix mechanism for dried materials and suction fan,etc.Solvent in those paste and heat sensitive materials can be easily recycled and thermal decomposition and reaction can be also carried out.

Feature:
1.Easy control,wide application
(1).Through adjusting the thickness of materials layer,rotating speed of main shaft,the number of harrow’s arm,harrow’s model and size,the best drying process can be set.
(2)Each layer of drying plate can be fed with hot or cold medium individually to heat or cold materials and make temperature control accurate and easy.
(3)Material’s residence time can be adjusted accurately.
(4)Single flowing direction of materials without return flowing and mixing,uniform drying and stable quality,no remixing is required.

3.Low energy consumption
(1)Thin Layer of material,low speed of main shaft,small power and energy required for conveying system of material.
(2)Dry by conducting heat so it has high heating efficiency and low energy consumption.
4.Good operation environment,solvent can be recovery and powder discharging meets the emission regulation.
(1)Normal pressure type:As air flow keeps low speed inside the equipment and moisture density is much higher in upper part that lower part,dust is not able to float up.Therefore,no dust powder mixes with exhausted air discharge from the outlet at the top.
(2)Closed type:Equipment with solvent recovery device that can recycle organic solvent easily from moist-carrier gas in closed circulation for those subject to burning,explosion and oxidation,and poisonous materials in order for safe operation.Especially suitable for drying of flammable,explosive and poisonous material.
(3)Vacuum type:This model is particularly suitable for drying heat sensitive material since the drying process is under the vacuum state. 5.Easy installation and small space occupancy.
(1)The machine is delivered in an integral,it is easy to install by hoist only.
(2)Due to the multi-layer design,the drying capacity is large with a small space occupancy.
Technical Characteristic
Drying plate
1.Design pressure:General is 0.4Mpa,max can reach 1.6MPa
2.Work pressure:general is less than 0.4MPa and max can reach 1.6Mpa.
3.Heating medium:steam,hot water,oil.When the drying plates’ temperature is 100 ℃,hot water can be used;when it is 100-150℃,it will be saturated water steam≤0.4MPa or steam gas,and when 150-320℃,it will be oil;when it is >320℃,it will be heated by electricity,oil of fused salt.
Material transmission system
1.Headstock revolution:1-10 rpm,electromagnetism of transducer timing
2.Harrow arm:There are 2-8 pieces arm that be fixed on the headstock on the every layers.
3.Harrow’s blade:Surrounding the harrow’s blade.Float together with the surface of the plate to keep contact.There are various types.
4.Roller:For the products easily agglomerate,or with the requirements of grinding,the heat transfer and drying process might be reifored by laceing roller(s) at the appropriate places.
Shell
There are three types for option:Normal pressure,sealed and vacuum
1.Normal pressure:Cylinder shape,heat medium can be inside of the container,or outside of it.
2.Sealed:Cylindrical shell is designed for 5 Kpa interior pressure.The main ducts of the inlet and outlet of heating medium might be reifored by laceing roller(s) at the appropriate places.
Shell

2.Sealed:Cylindrical shell is designed for 5 Kpa interior pressure.The main ducts of the inlet and outlet of heating medium might be inside of the shell or outside of it.
3.Vacuum:Cylindrical shell is designed for 0.1Mpa exterior pressure.The main ducts of inlet is inside of the shell.
Air heater
Normal for the application of big evaporation capacity it increase drying efficiency.
